why are you writing?
Do you have an answer to that question? If you do, that’s great. Because, me? I have few reasons.
Most of the time I write because it is the only outlet I know to help me get through what I’m feeling. I can’t hit other people, I can’t say what I really feel towards a person, I can’t say out loud what’s going inside me. Thanks to the Sumerian people for inventing it, I became bold and persuasive.
At times, I write for the sake of writing. To fill the void in me, to trick my head I can still write, to make myself believe that my soul is blazing when it comes to writing. I don’t stop and I don’t want to stop. So, I constantly search for anything to write about and digging into my deepest passion to inscribe. In that way, my intenseness remains flaring.
Recreating is the answer when I find myself penning the same notion but in different lines. It is an endless composition. That’s why we’re only getting better, and not staying the same.
However, it can be tough–when you suddenly lose track of your writing and drift in your purpose. I hope it leads you back to my first question.
